Dear Hardee County Business Owner:

We appreciate all the businesses that we work with and understand that there are many that are struggling right now.  As we are all faced with making adjustments during these trying times, please know that our office is available to work with each one of you.

This year when you submit your tax returns, we are asking that if possible you submit them electronically via e-mail to [email protected] .  When you submit your return via e-mail, we will respond confirming that we have received your tax return.  If you are unable to submit electronically, then please do not send tax returns via “Return Receipt Requested” or any other mailing mechanism that requires our presence or signature as proof of delivery.  We are all working remotely and this will cause an undue burden on our office.  If you must send via regular mail and are concerned that we may not timely get your package, request a USPS tracking or send your package through another mailing mechanism that provides you proof of delivery. If you have requested an extension and we have not received your tax return, we will reach out to you and will work with you.

Thank you for your understanding as we all work together for the good of our communities and our nation in overcoming this pandemic.
